The John R. Elliott Hero Walk will be held on Sunday, June 8th, 2014 at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ.

 

The Hero Campaign seeks to end drunk driving tragedies nationwide by promoting the use of safe and sober designated drivers. This organization was started in 2000 when John Elliott, a graduate of the Navel Academy, was struck and killed by a drunk driver.

 

This year, the walk is being hosted by the parents of Chad Horne. Chad was a 2006 graduate of Freehold High School and had attended Brookdale CC. Sadly, Chad was killed on January 28th, 2010 by a drunk driver.
